Kettering
UniCity will provide a state-of-the-art, fiber-enabled Wi-Fi network at the following City of Kettering locations that attract thousands of visitors every year: Fraze Pavilion, which will feature 24 access points at its entertainment venues, including a 4,300-seat amphitheater; Kettering Recreation Complex, which will feature 20 access points throughout the 152,000 sq. ft. facility; and Delco Park, which will have 9 access points across the complex.

Montgomery County Digital Initiative
altafiber, Montgomery County, Greater Dayton Premier Management, and CareSource brought high-speed Wi-Fi to five affordable housing communities. This will provide approximately 800 Chromebooks and more than 1,400 residents with connectivity that is critical to access jobs, educational opportunities, and health-care resources.

Dayton Boys and Girls Club
In support of the Dayton Boys and Girls Club vision to build a 21st Century Club for the residents of Dayton’s West End, altafiber donated $40,000 in technology upgrades and services in 2020. Additionally, altafiber employees volunteered to serve Thanksgiving Dinner, developed an art contest for kids, and donated $1,500 towards lunch for the kids at the club.
